A Brief Overview of the Season
Each new season begins in September and runs until the end of May.  There are 32 weeks in each full season.  We observe the following holidays at the studio: Thanksgiving Monday, Christmas Break, Family Day, March Break, Good Friday and Victoria Day.  A list of specific dates will be handed out upon registration.  If classes need to be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, it will be posted on our website under the NEWS heading.

Recital
Dancers have the OPTION to join in the year end recital which will be held at a local theatre at the end of May or beginning of June.  Preparation for the recital starts the first class back after Christmas.  This allows four solid months of training before learning choreography for dances.  As of January the students will continue their training and spend 1/2 of each class on choreography in order to properly continue their training.

Competition
C.O.R.E Dance Project will have a Competitive Team this year! The team will typically attend 3 or 4 competitions throughout March, April and May.  We try to keep the travel down to a minimum and usually select competitions within a  1hr travel range.  For all the details on our Competitive Team, please contact us and we will send you our 2010/2011 Competitive Team Outline.  Our Competitive Try Out Camp is strongly recommended for anyone that wishes to be a part of our team.

Exams
In 2010 we will be offering exams which will typically be held in June.

Summer Camps

We offer a variety of day and evening camps throughout June, July and August.
Please visit our News Page for specific information.
